Stromanthe thalia 'Triostar' remains the classic tricolour stromanthe for good reason, with large leaves brushed in cream, pink, and green over vivid magenta undersides. It combines strong leaf pattern with the daily movement of prayer plants, so the plant never feels static even when standing still in one spot. Compared with smaller or more tightly patterned Marantaceae, 'Triostar' reads broader, more painterly, and more obviously statement-making.
It prefers bright indirect light, evenly moist airy soil, warm stable temperatures, and humidity high enough to prevent browning. For growers who want one of the most recognisable foliage plants in the prayer plant family, 'Triostar' still earns its place very easily.
