Goeppertia 'Greenstar' stands upright in a tidy clump, carrying long, lance-shaped leaves with deep green surfaces and a sharp lime midrib that stays crisp even from a distance. Its vertical habit gives it a cleaner, narrower footprint than many broader prayer plants, while subtle daily leaf movement adds another layer of interest.
Indoors it usually reaches about 50–70 cm tall and grows from a rhizomatous base that stays relatively contained. Keep it in bright, indirect light with evenly moist but airy substrate, warm temperatures, and humidity above about 60% for the best leaf quality. Direct sun, dry air, and mineral-heavy water can lead to browning edges, but consistent care keeps the plant full, upright, and pet-safe in mixed households over time.
