Rhipsalis teres f. heteroclada is a soft-stemmed rainforest cactus with cylindrical trailing growth and irregular branching that gives it a more tangled, natural look than straighter species. The stems arch and drape, sometimes blushing slightly under brighter light, and mature plants may add small white flowers and decorative berries. It stays non-toxic and spineless, which makes it easy to place in everyday living spaces.
Bright indirect light, a very airy substrate, and moderate but steady moisture keep it performing well.
For growers who like hanging plants that feel a little wild but still calm and touch-friendly, heteroclada is a strong and flexible option.
