Rhipsalis clavata is a trailing epiphytic cactus with club-tipped segmented stems that hang in long, fluid chains and give hanging baskets or high shelves a distinctly sculptural feel. It stays spineless and non-toxic, making it easy to place in living spaces without concern for pets or handling. In good conditions it can also produce small pale flowers and light fruits, but the main draw is the unusual shape of the segments and the smooth cascading habit.
