Peperomia 'Hovaria' is an uncommon felted peperomia with rounded grey-green leaves carried on fleshy branching stems that can sprawl or trail as the plant matures. The soft down over the leaf surface gives it a velvety, almost dusty appearance, setting it apart from glossier peperomias. It suits elevated containers or hanging displays where the branching habit has room to develop, though it still stays manageable indoors.
Bright, indirect light with a little gentle sun helps maintain compact growth, while a gritty, free-draining substrate and moderate watering reduce the risk of stem or root rot. Ordinary indoor humidity is usually fine, and the leaves may wrinkle slightly if the plant becomes too dry. For collectors, the main appeal is its tactile surface and muted colour.
