Hoya sp. Sabah (EPC 961) is a compact Bornean clone with small glossy leaves, strong venation, and a tidy vining habit that stays easy to place indoors. It behaves like a classic humid-forest epiphyte: bright indirect light, a loose bark and perlite mix, partial drying between waterings, and warm steady temperatures encourage the best growth. Humidity around 60–80% helps it stay cleaner and fuller, though airflow is equally important.
Blooms are not well documented in cultivation, so the plant is mainly kept for its compact leaves and distinct collector code. Hoya sp. Sabah (EPC 961) is useful for growers who want a manageable, uncommon clone that still feels close to wild material rather than like a broad commercial cultivar bred mainly for surface pattern.
