Hoya sp. Papua 004 is a compact undescribed clone from Papua New Guinea with small leathery leaves, a subtle glossy finish, and gently raised venation that gives the foliage quiet structure rather than obvious patterning. It is one of those Hoyas that works especially well when space is limited, because the plant stays relatively neat and does not sprawl wildly.
Bright indirect light, warmth around 18–26 °C, humidity around 60–80%, and a very airy epiphytic mix help it settle in, while the top of the substrate should dry partially between waterings.
Little is firmly documented about its flowers, so the main appeal remains the tidy foliage and its Papua origin. Hoya sp. Papua 004 is well suited to growers building geographic or wild-origin Hoya collections in smaller spaces.
