Haworthiopsis fasciata 'Big Band' is a compact succulent that works because it is graphic, not flashy. Dark green pointed leaves stack into a tidy rosette and carry bold white horizontal ridges that stay visible even from across a room, giving the plant a crisp striped look without taking up much space. It suits desks, shelves, windowsills, and small arrangements where a stronger shape is more useful than soft foliage.
Like other dryland succulents from South Africa, Haworthiopsis fasciata 'Big Band' prefers bright light, excellent drainage, and complete drying between waterings. That makes it a good option for growers who tend to do better with structured routines and low-maintenance plants. It stays small, offsets slowly, and keeps its strong contrast for years when grown in a shallow pot with a sharply draining mix.
