Ficus lyrata 'Bambino' keeps the strong leaf shape of a fiddle leaf fig but in a narrower, more compact plant with smaller leaves held closer together. Indoors it usually reaches about 50–100 cm, so it delivers the familiar thick, violin-shaped foliage without the same floor-space demand as the full species. Bright indirect light with a little gentle direct sun helps it stay dense, while watering should wait until the upper few centimetres of the substrate have dried.
A well-draining mix with bark or perlite, warmth around 20–27 °C, and moderate humidity support healthier growth and cleaner new leaves. It dislikes cold drafts, repeated moving, and soggy roots. Brown spots or leaf drop often point to watering imbalance or unstable conditions, and like other Ficus it is mildly toxic and can irritate if the sap contacts skin.
