Echeveria gibbiflora 'Metallica' forms a broad rosette of wavy, spoon-shaped leaves in muted tones of lavender-grey, dusty green, and bronze-pink, all softened by a powdery coating that gives the surface its metallic look. Mature rosettes can span roughly 30–40 cm and may rise on a short stem, so even a single plant becomes a substantial focal point in a bright collection.
To keep it compact, provide several hours of direct light, very sharp drainage, low humidity, and the classic soak-and-dry watering rhythm. Avoid wetting the rosette centre or rubbing the farina, which marks easily and helps protect the leaves.
This cultivar is considered non-toxic, but it performs best with dry roots, warm temperatures, and enough space for the rosette to spread without crowding.
