Dracaena fragrans 'Burley' forms sturdy canes topped with broad arching leaves marked by a bright yellow-green stripe through a deep glossy green blade. Indoors it commonly reaches around 1–1.5 m, slowly shifting from a leafy shrub into a tree-like cane plant as older leaves drop and ringed stems become visible.
Bright indirect light keeps the central stripe clearer, though moderate indoor light is tolerated, and watering should wait until the top few centimetres of substrate have dried. A well-draining organic mix, temperatures of about 18–27 °C, and average to moderately raised humidity suit it well. Brown tips are often linked to dry air, irregular watering, or fluoride in tap water. Like other Dracaena, this cultivar contains saponins and should be kept out of reach of pets.
