Dieffenbachia seguine 'Cool Beauty' stays compact, usually maturing around 40–60 cm with creamy white leaf centres outlined by uneven dark green margins. The growth is upright and clumping rather than lanky, so it keeps a neat silhouette while still showing strong contrast, and its compact stature is easier to place than taller cane types.
Bright indirect light is ideal, though medium light is tolerated, and the root zone should be watered only after the top 2 cm or so of substrate have dried. Warm conditions around 18–28 °C, humidity above 50%, and a rich but airy mix support healthy growth.
Overwatering is the most common cause of yellow leaves, while direct sun can scorch the pale tissue. Calcium oxalate makes the plant toxic if eaten and irritating when handled carelessly.
