Cordyline obtecta ‘Superstar’ combines broad, fountain-like leaves with crisp lime-yellow centres and dark green margins, so the plant reads bold and bright without needing pink or red pigment. The wider blades make it feel more substantial than many narrow-leaved Cordylines, while the symmetrical rosette keeps the whole shape controlled and architectural. In a tall pot, it becomes an instant feature with very little styling effort.
Strong light is what keeps ‘Superstar’ looking sharp. Give it bright indirect light or gentle direct sun, a draining mix, and watering that allows a modest dry-down between soakings. Cordyline obtecta ‘Superstar’ is best thought of as a clean-striped foliage plant for growers who want brightness and structure, but in a tougher, less fussy form than many softer variegated houseplants offer.
