Asplenium antiquum forms a strong bird’s-nest rosette of glossy, strap-like fronds that arch outward in clean, simple planes of green. It brings structure and freshness without needing much styling help, which makes it an easy fit for desks, stands, and grouped plantings where more delicate ferns would feel fussy.
Because the fronds are sturdier than many fern leaves, it generally adapts better to normal indoor conditions provided you keep moisture even and avoid direct sun or water pooling in the crown. If you want pet-safe greenery with a tropical feel and a reliable silhouette, this species stays one of the better fern options.
