Variegation in Anthurium bonplandii variegata appears as irregular marbling, streaking, or sectoring across thick bird’s-nest leaves, with deep green mixed against cream, white, or yellow. Because the foliage is leathery and substantial, the pattern holds up well under ordinary handling and the plant keeps a sturdier feel than many thinner variegated Anthuriums. It grows as a dense rosette rather than a climber, slowly building to roughly 60 cm in height and spread under indoor conditions.
Give it bright filtered light, warmth around 18–27°C, and a coarse mix with bark, coir, and perlite so roots stay airy. Water once the upper 10–15% has dried indoors.
