Alocasia reginula 'Ninja' condenses the reginula look into a darker, sharper package, with near-black velvety leaves, refined silver veining, and a dense rosette that usually stays below 25 cm. It works well on shelves, in cabinets, or anywhere close viewing rewards the subtle surface texture and double marginal veins.
Use a loose, chunky substrate and water only after roughly the upper third has started to dry, because this jewel Alocasia resents stale moisture around its roots. Warm conditions, bright filtered light, and humidity around 60–75% keep the growth compact.
Brown tips and curling leaves usually point to dry air, strong sun, or inconsistent watering rather than any issue with the naturally dark foliage. Division is easiest once offsets have formed.
