Alocasia 'Jacklyn' feels like a deer antler turned into foliage, with bright green blades cut into deep lobes and marked by dark veins on mottled stems. The shape alone makes it unmistakable in a collection, even before you notice the texture and stem patterning that come with its Sulawesi background. It grows upright from a short rhizome and usually stays in a manageable range indoors, though mature plants still carry real presence because each leaf is so sculptural.
Bright indirect light, warmth above about 18 °C, higher humidity, and a very airy substrate are all important if you want the deeply cut shape and strong veining to remain clear. Water after the top layer dries slightly, but do not let the roots sit stagnant.
It is less about lush bulk than about outline, which makes it perfect for collectors who want something unmistakably botanical rather than broadly decorative.
