Alocasia baginda âSilver Dragonâ gives the same compact baginda habit a cooler finish, with silver-grey tissue between the veins and a thick sculpted surface that looks almost cast rather than grown. The leaves are smaller than many Alocasias but visually dense, so the plant punches well above its size on a shelf or in a cabinet. As each blade matures, the dark veins sharpen against the pale surface and the texture becomes more obvious.
It prefers bright filtered light, high humidity, and steady warmth, because cooler or darker conditions flatten both growth and colour.
Keep the substrate airy and lightly moist, let the upper layer dry a little between waterings, and avoid oversized pots if you want this plant to stay tidy and highly defined for years.
