Aglaonema 'Silver Queen' is the classic silver-striped Chinese evergreen: tall enough to matter, forgiving enough to live almost anywhere indoors, and still one of the strongest foliage backbones for a plant collection. The elongated leaves carry marbled silver-mint patterning along a prominent green midrib, and mature plants can reach about 60–90 cm with a full, bushy habit that works equally well on floors, stands, or larger desktops.
Its tropical understory ancestry explains its tolerance for low light, moderate humidity, and ordinary room conditions, though brighter indirect light keeps the silver more vivid. Water after the upper portion of substrate dries, keep the soil well drained with added bark or perlite, and avoid cold drafts below roughly 15 °C.
Because it remains stylish without needing constant attention, it is ideal for anyone building an easy, evergreen indoor structure around more specialised or colourful plants.
