Aglaonema 'Pink Star' goes all-in on colour, with vivid pink centres framed by dark green margins that give every leaf an immediate two-tone punch. That clear, almost graphic contrast makes the plant stand out strongly even when it is still compact, usually around 40–60 cm tall indoors, and it works especially well as a single accent in calmer planting schemes.
It comes from tropical Aglaonema breeding lines and therefore still prefers warm, stable conditions, lightly airy substrate, and medium to bright indirect light rather than direct sun. Lower light is tolerated, but the pink loses some intensity and the plant slows. Water after the upper few centimetres of the mix have dried, avoid cold drafts and waterlogging, and feed gently during active growth to keep the clump full.
This is a foliage plant for people who want colour to do the work flowers often would, but in a much more permanent and tidy form.
