Aglaonema 'Maria Christina' balances minty to silvery centres with deep green edges in broad, glossy leaves that always look composed, even when the plant is still relatively small. Indoors it often reaches around 60–90 cm, forming a dense upright clump that works well as a foliage anchor on a stand, in a corner, or among other more colourful houseplants.
Its Aglaonema commutatum background shows in its ability to handle low to moderate indirect light, though medium to bright filtered light keeps the contrast stronger and the growth fuller. Allow the upper portion of the mix to dry before watering, use a fast-draining substrate with coir and perlite or bark, and keep it away from cold drafts below roughly 15 °C. A little extra humidity improves leaf quality, but it still adapts well to ordinary indoor air, making it both visually polished and easy to keep over time.
